Personally, I am disappointed that they have critiqued the City of Waterdeep book as I am keen on Forgotten Realms material and have wanted more detail on Waterdeep for ages...

So basically they've watered down the book a little to make sure more people will want to buy it.
Considering the way I've seen them promoting D&D in some of the stores, this doesn't surprise me at all. Whether its a good or a bad thing I'll leave to someone far more familiar with D&D.
The Shadowrun stuff does look awesome though - its a game I've always enjoyed, and I'm lucky enough to have had a couple of good GMs (no dungeons here) for it, which has made it even better.
