On The Painting Desk - Khemri Done

Have finished my Khemri Blood Bowl team... even played a match with them today (and won!).

Quite happy with the way they turned out... the pinning of the pieces was extraordinary in that each miniture was actually 8 seperate bits (except the Mummies which were a full casting).

Very fiddly to put together, was really put off doing it in the first place because of it, but now that they're done, I am happy with the look of the team!

Khemri Mummies

2 Blitz-Ra's and 2 Thro-Ra's... really happy with the eyes on these guys

The Skeletons... differing helmets are a nice touch.

Team Shot!

All up, this has taken me about 6 weeks to do, but I do paint teams in a sporadic fashion... 15mins here, an hour here etc... the pinning though took more than the painting!

On The Painting Desk

Well, being off work and with plenty of spare time, I have taken up the paint brush for a new Blood Bowl team... am painting my Khemri team. Essentially, Khemri are an Egyptian themed team with 4 big mummies complemented with some skeletons...

Here is my test subjects... first a Khemri skeleton and then a Mummy.

I like the concept, they look great in person, but magnified under an 8MB camera, you can see every detail and defect - and there are alot!

But these are test paint jobs and I will fix them up some more before going on with the rest of the team (16 figures in all).

Weekend - Pain In The Neck

From Saturday arvo onwards, I felt pretty crappy with some sort of flu in which I had a massive headache and stiff neck etc. Spent the whole weekend laying low and taking it easy... which was a shame.

It was so awful last night I actually went to bed at 7pm! Before the kids!!

And of course, I woke up at 2am this morning wide awake... so I got up and watched the cricket from the West Indies and tried to go back to sleep at around 4am. Took some Panadol this morning however and am at work and appear to be feeling a bit better.

The other painful thing was that the AusBowl website experienced a cyber attack by one of the ex-admins (well he accidentally had access) and he deleted all the content in the Forums. At least its being restored from back up.

Daniel Marinas, you're a little shit...

Weekend Leviathan Wrap

Spent a wet weekend playing at the Leviathan tournament at Quakers Hill in which I did rather poorly :-)

Came 9th out of 16 with 2 wins, a draw and 3 losses... if I had my time again, I would have made some changes to my roster as my choices had severly limited my skills. Essentially, taking 4 Chaos Warriors was an overkill and hence my other 7 players were quite crap as a result... oh well, live and learn!

But my weekend was good and I had a great time and my team won Best Painting which was good for Dan who painted them.

Also, my mate Noyz who hasnt played Blood Bowl in 15 years had his first crack and he came from near bottom on Saturday to 7th overall by the end with a 3-0-3 record.

But as far as weekend's go, it was a good nerdy weekend!

CanCon 2008

Well, I am home from Canberra after running and playing in the Australian Blood Bowl Nationals.

I finished with 4 wins and 3 losses to come some where around 18th - 20th but we did get a record 50 coaches!

Saving me posting pics, here is a link to the CanCon 2008 gallery.

Am very tired, as the running around doing the organising, the playing itself, and the late nights with a few beers (hic!) has taken its toll!

But I was very happy with the whole weekend! Looking forward to next year already! :)

CanCon Team Complete - Nurglatosis

CanCon is soon upon me and I have been busy painting up my team for this years event...

It's a Nurgle team and I am fairly happy with the result... now I just need to win some games next weekend!

Beast Of Nurgle: Huge tentacled creature that puts the fear into the opponents and looks to devour opposing players to create more "rotters"

Nurgle Warriors: The big guys up front holding the line and pushing the opponent players back...

Pestigors: The ball carriers and ball hunters who look to win the game...

Rotters: These are the corpses of past victims who are infected with "Nurgles Rot" and are used as fodder for the opposition team to beat on... basically bags of gizzards on legs :)

And a happy team snap:

New Painting Project - Nurgle Rotters

Am painting up a new Blood Bowl team for CanCon in January... am playing / painting a Nurgle Rotters team... for those not familiar with Warhammer fantasy, Nurgle is the Chaos Daemon of Decay...

Firstly, the Nurgle Warriors... they were Warhammer Fantasy Chaos Warriors, with the mutation sprues and painted in a nice shade of green which actually was base coated a light brown but with overlaying green washes...

And here are the Pestigors... the team ball handlers / blitzers... They were Warhammer Plaguebearer of Nurgle figures with the weapons clipped off. Very happy with these... with some yellowish pus coming out too as a nice touch :)

Beast of Nurgle and the general rotter linemen to come :)

Blood Bowl World Cup - Congrats To France

Well, the Blood Bowl World Cup has been played out in Nottingham in the UK over last weekend and results are filtering through that Team Australia came 14th out of 48 teams and that one Aussie player - "Kransky" - came 10th overall in the individual placings with 7 wins & 2 losses.

The Cup was taken out by a French team and if you want to hear some bad La Marseilles then click through to the YouTube link...

Well done all, great event from all accounts and I may put it in my diary to goto the next one....

First Weekend of Freedom

Am currently unemployed for a week before I start my new job... sorry for the lack of posts, but things have been all over the place lately... when I get back into a routine of commuting and working, I am sure I will get back into meatier postings.

This weekend though I did head down for the Eucalyptus Bowl which turned out to be the largest Blood Bowl tournament ever held in Australia.  46 coaches took part and it was massive.  Blue Mountain's local Paul "Creature" Morris won the tournament overall with his Dark Elves and the tournament was a great success.

I played my Dwarves yet again for a final go and took my Death Roller out for a spin.  Unfortunately I found my team because of the cost to field the Death Roller was so much was a pretty poor roster and I ended up finishing 32nd with 2 wins and 4 losses.  And my two wins were firstly from down 0-2 to arse a comeback of gigantic proportions and I won my last game vs Goblins and even that was a close game.

Overall, Euc Bowl again impressed me and the turn out was fantastic.  Credit to Richard & James for putting on the show and running it very well.  Prizes were fantastic as well and I was able to pick up some mini's as well second hand too.

Day of the Zombie

Today is a horrendous day... not because of some dire event other or anything like that, just that I had only 3-4 hrs sleep last night, was on the train at 5:20am to be at a breakfast meeting at 7am and have a number of important meetings today and a cocktail function starting at 5:30 that will probably mean I wont be home until 9:30pm tonight!  I then have an 8am meeting tomorrow morning, so the potential for a good night sleep is tonight is restricted!

The reason for my lack of sleep is comical however... got home last night realising I needed to get up at 4:30 this morning and was looking for a very early night... ate dinner, started to chat to Niki about the home refinance and was planning to be in bed a short time later.  Then a knock on the door startled us and it was my next opponent in Blood Bowl!  I had totally forgotten I had booked a game for my local league to be played on Monday night!  Flustered and apologetic I invited Mark in and thought "there goes my sleep".  A game goes for typically 2-3 hrs, so I thought we could be done by 11pm, but alas it was a very tense game, lots of action, and some unusual events (Pitch Invasions, Riots) plus the game was played in the pouring rain which effected the rules and added complexity and to top it off Mark was a patient player who planned his moves over in his head before doing much on the board.

End result, I won 3-2 at 12:30am this morning!!

Dashed to bed, couldnt sleep because I was impatient about getting to sleep and then the next thing I know the alarm is going off... 4:30am!  Rise and Shine!

It is now 11:30am... have had 4 coffees already (3 at breakfast, one from the shop) and I am worried that I may fall asleep at the cocktail function tonight....

Self inflicted I know, but it was all my fault... I had in my head the game was on Thursday... whats that thing they say that you can only remember 7 things in your active memory?  I think I was trying for 8 and blew a gasket :)

Games Workshop Failing...

Well!  Games Workshop, the people who stuffed up thousands of gamers when they released games and stop supporting them (Blood Bowl, Necromunda et al) to milk the cash cow that is (was) Warhammer seems to have hit hard times according to this article.

BoardGameGeek has this thread running on the subject and there aren't many tears for GW... and I am not crying either!

Put it simply, Warhammer is overpriced rubbish and the better games with better rule sets and better cost to the consumer have died as an officially supported game and we now live on eBay and second hand copies and rule updates published by enthusiasts....

/rant off :)

Deathroller Complete

Finished painting my Dwarven Deathroller today... all ready to go in July's Eucalyptus Bowl.

I know I'm not the best painter around, but I'm happy with this effort. I have gone for a matching burgundy scheme as to my Dwarf team (the Glenbrook Kings) and hence the hand painted crown logo on the side.

Also, I have gone for the mad, googly eyed look... most deathrollers I see painted cover the lens in black paint to look like sunglasses... I instead went for a big thick lenses :)

Leviathan 2007 - CHAMPION

Fourteen hopefull coaches gathered at Quakers Hill High School this weekend to take part in the Blood Bowl tournament which was part of the broader Leviathan Gaming Convention.

14 was an OK turn out but I know that there were a few late drop outs, but we had coaches from Newcastle and Sutherland who had treked to Quakers Hill in Sydney's west to take part.

The rules were simple: Team Value $1,100,000 and skills were able to be included in that but no more than one skill per player. It was also a "resurrection" tournament so you played your starting roster every game and deaths and injuries were erased.

I took a Dwarf team "The Glenbrook Kings" with 2 Blitzers, 2 Troll Slayers, 1 Runner (with Block) and 7 Longbeard Blockers (4 with Guard), a Cheerleader and 2 ReRolls.

To cut a long story short, I ended up winning the tournament and secured my first ever tournament victory. In fact I was so succesful that the trophy was mine after Game 5 (of 6) as I was so far ahead. Lucky too, because I ended up losing Game 6!

Thanks to Pete "tribalsinner" Arentsen for being the tournament organiser and thanks to all the coaches for playing, it was a good couple of days and I must say for my first 5 games, I couldnt do a thing wrong! Below is a game by game review.

Game 1: vs The Fur Kin Rats (Skaven). Coach: Geoff "Magic Thighs" Watson
This game was a great start to the tournament to get the adreneline pumping. Skaven being much quicker are normally hard to handle to handle for Dwarves but Geoff had taken what I thought was a surprising approach to his team. 2 Gutter Runners, 2 Throwers (one with Leader, one with Nerves of Steel) and 12 (yes 12!) Line Rats. Two of these had a skill each - Dauntless and Strip Ball.

He won the toss and received and with all my guard skill and his distinct lack of block, he really got stopped hard and I managed to turn him over, steal the ball and score fairly quickly and in the process did a fair amount of damage.

With 16 players in his squad, Geoff was able to field 11 players but he was down one Gutter Runner and the line rats were no match and the second half was an absolute slaughter.

Final Score: Glenbrook Kings 2 def Fur Kin Rats 0 (Casualties 5-1).

The Fur Kin Rats are smeared across the field in Game 1.

Game 2: vs Half Pint Hooligans (Halfling). Coach: Brendan "GardenGnome" Morrison
My arch rival Brendan was having a bit of a laugh playing Halflings, but they arent as bad as a team as they are made out to be. However against Dwarves, it was really ugly. He had 2 Treemen (one with Multiple Block, one with Break Tackle), 13 Flings (alot with Side Step, one with Dirty Player) and the star Halfling player "Puggy Baconbreath".

Won't go too much into this one as it was fairly one sided, but Brendan did go on and win a few games and finished mid table.

Final Score: Glenbrook Kings 2 def Half Pint Hooligans 0 (Casualties 6-1)

The Kings charge into the Trees vs the Hooligans

The Hooligans casualty box post math... 6 casualties, another 4 knocked out.

Game 3: vs The Green Machine (Orc) Dan "dancollins" Collins
As the last game of Day 1 arrived, I was on the top of the leaderboard, but Dan Collins also had two wins as well and we were paired up. Dwarves vs Orcs... wasnt going to be pretty. Dan had taken 4 Black Orc Blockers all with Block skill, and 3 Blitzers (2 with Guard, 1 with Tackle), a thrower with Leader and 2 Line Orcs. A very front heavy and bashy side which was the complete opposite to my previous games.

The Green Machine won the toss and received and after alot of bashing, the ball got bogged down into a scrum in mid field and his drive was stopped. There wasnt any harm really done but for the first time, the Kings hadnt had a huge numerical advantage in the second half.

The second period saw the Kings drive hard up the midfield and soon the blood started to flow and the numbers on both sides were reduced. Critically, the Kings' runner was knocked out and the ball handling was left to the blitzers.

But a bad missed block in the second half allowed a gap and the Kings were able to score and lead 1-0 but a quarter of the match remained.

Down on numbers, the Kings held on when a final blitz saw the ball scatter free and back into the pack and the hopes of the Green Machine were dashed.

Final Score: Glenbrook Kings 1 def Green Machine 0 (Casualties 2-1)

Pre Game, the Orcs and Dwarves attempt to psych each other out

The final play as the Kings bring down the Green Machine's attempt to tie the game

Day Two
Game 4: vs The Creeping Death (Khemri). Coach: Paul (Creature) Morris
The first game of day 2 was going to be tough. Khemri have no interest in scoring touchdowns and Paul had been slashing through the field on Day 1 absolutely trashing his opponents and then waltzing in for a 1 TD win. I was worried about this game simply by having to face 4 mummies. The Creeping Death consisted of those 4 Mummy's (2 with block), 2 Blitz-Ra's (one with Guard), a Throw-Ra and 4 Skeletons.

The game was one of the funnier ones of my weekend however as the Khemri side absolutely self destructed. The Mummy's got scattered around the field and couldnt form a consistent defence as Troll Slayers and guarding longbeards got in amongst it. Then a few of the Khemri got taken out and they started losing the numbers game.

Their solution was to play dirty and in quick succession on both sides of half time, 3 skeletons were sent from the field and before he knew it, they were down 1-0 and only had about 6 players left to try to tie the game.

They failed and the Kings stripped the ball loose and we were away for a big win.

Final Score: Glenbrook Kings 2 def Creeping Death 0 (Casualties 5-1)

I was now well clear and still had yet to be scored against!

At the start of the game, the Creeping Death had a menancing look....

But they were stretched too far and the Kings blitz down the left wing to take the lead in the corner....

The Hall of Shame... 3 Skeletons sent off for dirty play!

Game 5: vs Old World (Necromantic). Coach: James (Rabid_Bogscum) Russell-Wills
An experienced coach with an excellently painted team was my opponent for Game 4 and I was now riding high and feeling a tad invincible. Rabid and I have played many times and we always had close games so I was expecting a good match, but at this stage my endzone hadn't been crossed and I was leading the casualty count after I had out bashed the Khemri last game.

Rabid had 2 werewolves (with block), 1 Flesh Golem, 2 Ghouls (1 with Sure Hands, the other block), 2 Wights with Guard and 4 zombies.

I won the toss and received and the half was very close. His frenzied were wolves kept poking into my cage of dwarves and the Flesh Golem was sucking up plenty of hits but eventually the hits began to drive home and I was able to cage the ball deep into his half.

Then a few odd things happened - he managed to break my cage and got a single dice block against the runner and stunned him.... but the bouncing ball landed in the lap of a longbeard and he managed to hang onto the ball. Then the stumpy little dwarf was off to the races and seemingly unstoppable. A werewolf made a desperate lunge and missed and then I was in the clear... or so I thought. Not wanting to give the Necros' too much time in the first half, I stalled and delayed scoring... so the werewolf dodges 3 times through multiple tackle zones, blitzes with 2 dice against him, pushes me sideways, and with a second (frenzy) block surfs the long beard into the crowd... he saves the day its nil all at the half.

Second half, I have to defend and the Necro side screams down my left wing and I am in a fair bit of trouble as several defenders are lying stunned on the turf. Then critically a werewolf dodges needlessly and fails and he has left himself vulnerable. Lots of carnage ensues and the Kings surf some Old World players into the crowd and the ball is free and a Dwarf Blitzer runs the opposite way with it.

The half peters out as the Dwarf blitzer runs unopposed 75 yards and scores. As he rumbles down field the Old World team are cleared off the field as the boot is laid in.

At the end, only the Flesh Golem remains on the field and the Kings cross the stripe for victory.

Final Score: Glenbrook Kings 1 def Old World 0 (Casualties 6-0)

Game 4 is away with the Kings receiving...

After holding out the Kings, the Old World look to start the second half by punching down the Kings left flank.

Game Over - the field is cleared... the dead and injured are all thats left....

Game 6: vs Snakes (Lizardmen) Coach: Steve (Thomsy) Thoms
Amazingly, after 5 wins from 5 games my final game was a dead rubber. I had an unassailable lead whilst 5 teams battled it out for the minor placings.

With that in mind, I was pretty relaxed against Steve who is a very good player and was running 2nd and whilst he couldnt pass me, it was still a match both wanted to win.

His side was very strong and had a Kroxigor, 6 Saurus and 5 Skinks. Because Lizardmen teams are very expensive, he could only afford a leader on one of his Saurus (Sauri?) but still, that was 7 players with high strength.

Also, of all races, I absolutely hate playing Lizardmen... I have a very poor record against them.

He won the toss and received and with that massive front line, he crushed the line of scrimmage and punched a huge hole. With the skinks that move twice as fast as my Longbeards, he was through that hole so quickly that I couldnt cover it and before I could blink, the little skinks had run it in.

My defence had been breached! :-(

I then made a huge tactical blunder for the rest of the game and one that I will remember next time I play Lizards. I formed the typical Dwarf cage and tried to roll over the top. This tactic is my pet play and why I do so well with Dwarves, but against Lizards, he had the strength to hold and and the skinks simply provided cover at the back. Slipping in for an assist here or there, but really staying out of harms way as the Sauri's and the Krox took the punishment.

My attempt to tie the game before half time failed and my second half drive also stalled and soon I was being beaten down hard.

Then, the skinks managed to crowd surf the Blitzer with the ball and the ball popped out into open territory. Those lightning fast lizards then turned defence into attack and he was away... scoring on the bell and I suffered my first defeat.

Despite it being a dead rubber, I was keen to go the clean sweep, but Steve played a great game and I learnt a thing or two about playing against Lizards... next time I will try something else.

Final Score: Glenbrook Kings 0 lost to Snakes 2 (Casualties 1-2)

Game Start... the Snakes about to crush the Kinsg... OUCH!
Posted by Picasa

The end... note the large gap between the skink scoring and the ruck... very fast!

Champions! The Kings pose at end of the tournament.

Leviathan 2007

This weekend will be taken up with a blood bowl tournament at Quakers Hill.  If you're interested click here for more details...

I will be taking the Dwarves out for a spin again and will hopefully break my duck egg for tournament victories.  I have placed 2nd and 3rd a number of times, but just cant get over the line.  Actually I did win Leviathan last year in terms of match scores but was downgraded on the basis of sportsmanship!  Pfft!  Who gives a fuck about sportsmanship!  mmmm, maybe that's why I didn't win hey ;-)

A tourney write up will follow on Sunday or Monday... will take the camera too I guess for some Nerd Spotting.

Quick CanCon Wrap

Got back last night from CanCon, the big gaming convention in Canberra where I once again had a tilt at the Australian Blood Bowl Nationals.  In terms of results on the pitch, I did slightly worse than last year finishing equal 5th (out of 30) as opposed to last years 3rd, but I think I enjoyed the games this year more and on top of that, I was able to play a few boardgames at night given I was on my own and the comp was probably a lot tighter over all.

Firstly, I think a big Lime Kettles congratulations must go to Tommy “ozjesting” Dean, a regular Lime Kettle poster who took out the title in a very exciting grand final.  His Norse team was clearly the best team overall and was the deserved champ with a 5-2-0 record.  Also, one of the best victory speeches I have ever heard… am yet to know whether he was able to successfully collect his prize of the woman of his choice….??

On my efforts, I played Tommy and I also played the runner up (Ian “Doubleskulls” Williams) and two very close matches with both those guys that could have gone either way.  Ultimately Tommy beat me and I drew with Ian and I guess that’s what cost me the title…

My matches went something like this:

  • Vs Rod Noye (Orcs) 2-0 win
  • Vs Doubleskulls (Amazons) 1-1 draw
  • Vs Vimes (Skaven) 1-1 draw
  • Vs Brad Delmege(sp?) (Dark Elves) 1-1 draw (yes another farking 1-1 draw)
  • Vs Ozjesting (Norse) 0-1 loss
  • Vs GardenGnome (Pro Elves) 2-3 loss
  • Vs Drakeular (Necromantic) 3-1 win

So overall, a 2/3/2 record and I also took out the most casualties’ award (25 in 7 games) and the best painted single miniature award and my prize was a new Dwarven Deathroller miniature, which I am very very happy about.

Had a good look around CanCon as well and if I had the cash, I could have gone berserk.  I did get a Carcassonne expansion for the girls (Princess & Dragon) but that was about it.

The next Blood Bowl tournament is Leviathan at Quakers Hill in mid April, so I hope to see you all there!

CanCon - last minute post

Well a late post today from my desk… drove in this morning in the rain as I am driving to Canberra after work today for CanCon 2007.

All my boot is laden with Blood Bowl stuff plus I am taking some D&D books, a board game – Betrayal on the House on the Hill – and my PSP… I am set for a weekend of Gaming of all sorts – Nerd City here I come!

My custom made Blood Bowl pitch didn’t fit in the boot this morning, so its taking up the back seat but it fits there nice and snugly.  Forgot to pack my camera this morning as well, so there wont be any CanCon shots this year for the blog…. D’oh.

For those readers who are going as well, I look forward to seeing you soon!

Go the Dwarves!

Mountain Bowl Review

Sunday I played Blood Bowl at the inaugural Mountain Bowl at the Blaxland Tavern.  In a nutshell, it was great fun and I had 2 wins and a draw to see me tie for 4th (out of 13 coaches) but I was disappointed that I couldn’t play the Saturday because of cricket (I was awarded 3 “draws” to compensate so effectively me record was 2/4/0 and hence my 4th place).

Because I didn’t think I would win the comp and didn’t want to actually win it over a player who had played the first day, I decided to play a race I had never played before – so I borrowed a Khemri team from co-coordinator Brendan and went out to bash some teams.

Khemri for those who don’t know are an Egyptian styled / themed team who principally have 4 big Mummies and a bunch of Skeletons and essentially win by beating the other team senseless and walking it in when there are no opposition left.

Game 1 was against a Dwarf team and it was a really close game.  The Dwarves are very resilient and I just couldn’t get through their high armour and my drive to the end zone was stalled because of this.  In fact the Dwarves were able to knock the ball from my hands at the death and throw a long bomb pass down the field and whilst the catch was successful, the little dwarf fell over when he tried to dodge away.  0-0 at the half with the Dwarves to receive.

The second half again was very tight but they tried to play an expansive game rather than the traditional dwarf running game and it eventually came unstuck and I was able to retrieve the ball.  I then ground down the field and this time did manage to score on the last play of the game and won 1-0.  Unfortunately, very un-Khemri like, I lost the casualty count 1-2.

Game 2 was against an Orc team and this was a great game.  End to end stuff, and the Orcs had hired a wizard who fire balled me in the first half and they turned me over for a 1-0 lead at the break.  The Orcs had an AG4 and an AG5 blitzer and were playing like elves and I thought I would lose but some great play by the Khemri saw some casualties and a fair number of KO’s happen and suddenly we were up on the numbers and tied the Orcs up on a sideline.  The ball was spilled deep in my own half and we were able to luckily pick it up with some goblins pressuring us and then it was effectively all over.  1-1 draw, but we won the casualties 4-1.

Game 3 was against High Elves and I was looking forward to this game against some lighter armour.  Finally the dice worked and at half time we were tied 1-1 but the casualty count was 6-0!  The elves only had 5 players left at half time and I was to receive the kick.  I ground out the win and stalled my way to a 2-1 win.  The only bad part of the day was that the opposing coach (who shall remain nameless) had a few too many beers at this stage and got a bit stroppy about stalling.  But why would a Khemri team give Elves a chance to score back… no way José, and I’ll take a 2-1 win (7-0 casualty count) any day.

I finished out of the prizes, but the prizes were very good with a full Vampire and full Lizardman team for 1st and 2nd and plenty of Ogres, Minotaurs and Treeman and Trolls for the painting, sportsmanship prizes.  Also a lucky door prize of a full Witch Elf team from Shadowforge minis was also handed out… and every other coach scored a mini as well – I got a goblin referee holding up a yellow card… nice little mini that!

Great tournament, venue was excellent (blood bowl, the cricket on a plasma and beer on tap and 5mins from my house) and a good number of coaches (13) made it a good day.  The Blaxland Tavern were happy to have us back and there is talk that Blood Bowl will be a monthly / quarterly event there.  Also met some new local coaches and we’ve decided to get a league up and running…

Blood Bowl Tournament - Blaxland Dec 2-3

There is a Blood Bowl Tournament on at the Blaxland Tavern this weekend and I will be playing on the Sunday.

If anyone is interested, I am sure roll up attendees are welcome and cost is $20 for NAF members (and probably a bit more expensive for non-NAF members).

I will only be playing Sunday because of Saturday cricket, so I will only be there for the social occasionI will only be playing Sunday because of Saturday cricket, so I will only be there for the social occasion rather than winning… I might take my flings or I might give my old Undead team a run… or go safety first and play Dwarves… hehe

Games start 9am both days I believe, 3 games a day.

Event: Mountain Bowl

Venue: Blaxland Tavern, Great Western Hwy, Blaxland

Date: Dec 2 and 3, 9:00am.

There will be prizes for all participants I believe… and full teams for the winners.
